I'm still happy with the V1, now want the WA zoom, happy 2013

I'm on vacation with family. Brought D7000 and V1 plus lenses. Have used both depending on situation, very effective. Only those that have never used the V1 complain, it's the best compact I have ever used, flawless in my opinion. I will likely get the WA zoom, then wait for the V3. The V2 looks good but I tend to follow Thom's suggestion of going for every other iteration in cameras, 3-4 years is a a good time life for current DX and CX models, likely more for FX (which I'll go eventually).
Photography has been good to me since 1966 when I got a Kodak Starlet (called Rio 400 in Brazil) as a birthday gift. Cheers and happy 2013 to all friends here.
