Can there be a difference in ISO performances for same model?
Jan 8, 2013

Hi Guys,

I just bought my Fujifolm X-E1 with the standard kit lens 28-55 f 2.8

However I am a bit disappointed with its ISO performance.

I checked all reviews and it is supposed to have superior quality than D7000 which I already own.

Also in dpreview iso comparison is so obvious that x-e1 beats.

However I just did a test at home, for both default adjustments, they are similar, I can say D7000 is one tag better. it is shocking for me. Because x-E1 has same noise as others.

I see dpreview samples photos in iso6400 is cleaner than my iso3200 samples.

Can somebody help me to understand what I do wrong?

I suspect my x0E1 copy has a problem.

Awaiting your comments...

Best regards, MM
