As some have suggested, you should look at your portfolio and check the EXIF data to see what focal lengths you use most.

I don't even own an SLR lens between 25mm and 69mm right now. I recently sold my 24-70mm f/2.8, 50mm f/1.4 and even my 85mm f/1.8.

Currently shooting a 14-24mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 VRII, and 400mm f/2.8 VR. All I shoot in the 24-70mm is snapshots anyway, which I use my Canon G15 for.

If I did need to cover that middle range, I'd just add a 35mm f/1.4mm, which would also give just over 50mm in DX mode.
