Not saying it is not, but this is from the Olympus website. Precaution still has to be taken by the user. It is not 100% full proof if one does not per Olympus.

And this is from the GH3 manual page 9, from a section entitled "Before Use : Care of the Camera"

The dust- and splash-proofing of this unit is not a guarantee of a full protection against the intrusion of dust and water. Please note the following to optimise the dust-proof and splash-proof performance:

– Use a Panasonic interchangeable lens that supports the dust- and splash-proof design. When you are using an interchangeable lens that does not support the dust-splash proofing or are using the mount adaptor (DMW-MA1: optional), the dust-splash proofing of this unit is disabled.

– Use with the built-in flash closed.

– Securely close each door part, socket cap and terminal cover of this unit.

– When you attach/detach the lens or cap, or open/close the door, make sure to prevent sand, dust, and water droplets from entering the interior of this unit.

– If this unit is exposed to water or other liquids, wipe off the liquid with soft dry cloths after use.

To sum up : Panasonic is not less cautious than Olympus concerning the dust and splash proof capabilities of their only splash proof body. Panasonic has one body and two lenses which are wheathesealed, exactly the same number as Olympus (E-M5, 12-50mm zoom and 60mm macro).

You are constantly complaining that about Olympus fanboyism, but with this kind of messages, you are looking for it. You own Panasonic bodies and Panasonic lenses and you are happy with that. We are happy for you too. But why do you need to provoque Olympus owners ? Is it your strategy to start flame wars in order to get a split of the forum against the will of the majority of users ?

I love this.  It was the great "flame war" of 2013.  Cue music... Against all odds of the Olympus army just like David against Goliath to slay the MFT's forum, but the gods were petty and angry and split the forum because of my super powers. Come on.

So I just decided to go over to the viper pit and poke the snakes is that right.  How is what I said provoking.  I stated facts. I said every Olympus lens is not dust/splash proof from reading the Olympus site and its still smart to follow what the manufacture says.

I would be surprised if you use an Olympus OMD with the Panny 12-35 or 35-100 or the GH-3 with the 12-50 or 60 mm and something happens to one or the other it must void the warrantee.

Why would Olympus or Panasonic guarantee how another manufactures lens seals their camera body by mix and matching. If they did then the manufactures deserves to loose sales as their is no incentive to buy their product.

If you are starting fresh and need XYZ lens and you have four to choose from. Two from each manufacture and you like the OMD sure they work with the 12-35/35-100 but how can the weather seals match if the 12-35 & 35-100 was designed with the GH-3 Not the OMD in mind is what I am saying.

If one has disposable income to test it and take a chance I will gladly say I am wrong and hope I am.

I am saying that Olympus is not testing Panasonic lenses and Panasonic is not testing Olympus lenses why would they talk up the competition.
