D5000 repair advice

All,
I have a D5000 that front-focuses. (I confirmed it using a focus test chart and a tripod.) I took it to Photo Tech in NYC for repair, and got the following estimate. It's for $272, which is about what my D5000 is worth.
SERVICE REMARKS
BODY L$89, P$128: REPLACE TO GO PCB LABOR $124.00
REPAIR AND ADJUST SHUTTER RELEASE MECHANISM PARTS $148.00
REPAIR AND ADJUST MIRROR OPERATION MISC ($25.00)
REPAIR AND ADJUST AUTO FOCUS OPERATION TAX $0.00
6-MONTH GUARANTEE SHIPPING $25.00
LENS L$35, P$20: CLEAN AND REPAIR SAND/GRIT TYPE TOTAL $272.00
REPLACE FILTER RING
Does all this need to be done to fix front-focusing? What does the TOGO PCB do? Would the shutter release mechanism impact autofocus?
If it really requires $272 to fix, I'll probably just sell it "as is" for $150 and get another camera.
Thanks,
Bryan
