I wish I had given thought to my future needs when I was buying my camera/lenses.  Had I considered where I might want to go, I would have made a point to buy full frame lenses (L series) to use on my Canon 60D so when/if I wanted to go full frame all I would have to do is get the camera body.  As it stands right now, I have a lot of money invested in the 60D and lenses that aren't ideal for full frame so to go full frame I would have to start over completely.

What about starting with an APS-C now and investing the money in good lenses and if you decide you want to go full frame you just need to upgrade the body at that point?
