Right now I have the 5D III, and EF 70-200 IS L II and also the EF 1.4 III and EF 2X III, I am going to start getting into wildlife BIF and so on, but also will get the next Canon crop like 7D II, now the 70-200 is not long enough and was thinking of buying the EF 100-400 IS L or the EF 400 5.6 L, but it does not have IS and do know that in BIF it is useless anyways, what is your recommendations? thanks;)

The 400 5.6 is sharper and has faster AF. For BIF and wildlife you will usually want more than 400, so you would be using the slower 100-400 at 400 most of the time anyways.

Get the 400 for everything small and far away and cover the rest with your 70-200. you are only losing 200-300mm focal length which you may not need and can cover with your TC

Nothing to see here ...

Ya I thought about that also, but with the 400 5.6 I can also add the 1.4 TC, thanks.
