I have been taking a daily photo in Scotland for my Blipfoto journal. This is a damp part of the world and it was wetter than average last year. I have used the 12-50mm a lot, and found it really useful.
However, looking back I see that only one or two successfulpictures (by my undemanding standards ) have been taken in rain each month. Much more often have I been pushing the ISO limit. My conclusion is that a fast lens would be useful more often than a weather-sealed one.
