Is this what it looks like nowadays! I happened to live in Jersey City spring 1987, on the hill just above Hoboken, and the area was as I remember more or less empty at that time. If I remember right there was a great Palmolive plant at the shore, a historical industrial landmark, but empty. But there were plans, at least big signs with promises of another future. As an urban planner I have been involved in waterfront development here in my part of the world, but I haven't seen this area since a short visit to NY maybe ten years ago. Nice to see your photos, very good ones!
