Be aware that stabilized cameras and lenses work best for still photographs where the camera only has to keep the image steady for the duration of a single exposure (typically less than a second).  The problem with video is that the image stabilization system has to try to keep the image steady for an indefinite period of time, and that's simply not possible.   Sooner or later (usually sooner) the system runs into a limit (the adjusting lens or sensor shift mechanism can only compensate so far) before it has to reset.   The result is that, although not as jerky as an unstabilized image, the scene will still periodically appear to shift back or forth for no apparent reason as the IS system recenters itself.

It's best to use a tripod or some sort of steadycam rig, but understand that the latter requires a fair bit of practice in order to get good results.
