Yah, I wouldn't recommend getting the 25mm pancake either. With adapter attached, it's no longer a small, compact size. And 2.8 isn't too terribly fast either. I have the old Oly 17mm 2.8 with my E-P2 and it is just barely fast enough for indoor photos at that focal length. The added 8mm of the Oly 25mm will be all-the-more slower.
Unless you can get the 25mm for an absolutely amazing deal, it's not worth it. And even if cheap, its focal length & 2.8 speed will be limiting. Much better option would be to consider the new 17mm 1.8 ... that's what I have decided on myself.
35mm equivalent is a classic, highly flexible focal length and the added speed on f 1.8 will be a boon for indoor/low-light/ambient photography. Focus speed & Oly colors are a definite plus too versus considering a Panny 20 1.7 for instance...
Cheers,
Neil
