grad/nd filter setup experience for 20mm F2.8d

At 20mm I'm getting vignetting with a screwin filter on a D700. What kind of setup do you have with this lens? Filter thread is 62mm. May be a slimer screw-in filter? stack the filter after a step-up ring? or some rectangular filter holder setup with an adapter ring?

Or inevitable?
