DoF, CoC, mFT vs FF (35mm)

You're correct in thinking that when you're DoF limited then the amount of light entering the camera is the same, which means the noise performance should be the same in theory. Of course you should also look at the noise characteristics and well depth (dynamic range) of the sensor.
