Real world SEL 35 1.8 image

Like many here, most of my photos are family members taken when we all get together. The attached is pretty typical of the image quality I received from the SEL 35 and my NEX 7 during the Christmas holidays. Cropped a bit.  Off camera flash using a 20 to trigger a 36 behind and to my left being held by my wife.  I was sitting on the floor and my wife was standing several feet behind me and to my left with the diffuser over the light.  You can see the shadow on the chair that shows the direction of the flash placement, but for his face it worked just fine.



Sitting on the floor watching grandchildren learn to propel themselves.
