Dxomark "measured" ISO vs Manufacturer ISO

That is the question...

It would account for the claims of 1.5 and more improvement in noise people are seeing comparing files vs the DxO measurement of only a very small amount. I can only go by a sense I get that this is true when using the A99 as I have already sold my A900 and can't perform this comparison directly.
