Oly 12mm 2.0 Focus Tab

I was reading a review on the 12mm/2.0 and the reviewer mentioned how nice it'd be if somebody fabricated a focusing tab similar to that of the Leica M mount lenses.

Has anybody done something like this?  I've recently sold my M8 and would love to remind me of rangefinder hehe
