Cone Thrift Inks - Reviews?

I'm thinking of converting an older Epson 24" printer to the Thrift Ink from Jon Cone.

Before I pull the trigger and spend hundreds for the conversion I'd like to know what the reviews are from those that have tried the Thrift Ink.

Printing would be almost entirely on glossy canvas.  I do very little paper and when I do I have other printers anyway.  But I have a spare 7600 sitting here that works fine, just stupid high OEM ink prices.

Since they don't make Thrift Ink specifically for a 7600 I would order the empty cartridges and ink for the 7800 and create some profiles.

Thoughts on the Thrift Ink from those that have used it?
