Some recent Florida birding with the NEX

About a week or so, I shared some birds-in-flight and ducks-in-flight shots with the NEX-5N and 55-210mm lens plus DH1758 teleextender. This time, I'll share some of the non-flying birds, plus one reptile for fun. These are all from the past few weeks down in my part of South Florida...
Starting with a reptile - an alligator grabbing a sun nap on a half-submerged tree
A black-bellied whistling duck, having a little bath
A strongly backlit palm warbler on top of a tree
Closeup with a great blue heron
A moorhen cruising by in the reflective waters
A tricolor heron on the hunt through the reeds and shallows
A wee pied-billed grebe still for a moment
Blue-winged teal cruising by
Green heron hanging out in a tree above the waters
An eastern phoebe hopping from branch to branch
Comments, questions, critique welcomed as always. Hope you enjoyed a little Florida sunshine and warm weather, where the birds come to winter!
