Disappointed with K-30.

I bought K-30+18-135 WR to replace my Pentax-ist DS which I had for many years and which died because dust went inside. I am really disappointed with behavior of K-30 which is positioned as weatherproof and expected to resist to cold, dust etc. I took it to water park hoping to take pictures not worrying too much about splashes and humidity but managed to take only few shots. After 5 min lens become very foggy _inside_ and it was not possible to take photos. Next day at home water vapor heavily condensed inside of lens and on inner side of glass protecting LCD screen, forming quite big water drops. I opened all holes in the camera body, detached lens and let it sit for another day. After that water drops seemed to disappear, but strange white lines and areas appeared on LCD screen. It seemed like vapor went deeper into electronics and it made some pixels on LCD glow brighter than others.  Now, few days later, these lines become smaller in size and less apparent but still visible.

I now believe that there is a flow with camera design. When you take K-30 to humid environment  (can be water park or just a rainy/humid day) and start to shoot with 18-135 WR lens changing focal length, lens works as a pump, sucking outside humidity into inside camera which with slight change of inside/outside temperature will condense on all surfaces inside of camera. So much about weatherproofing. People around me who was keep shooting with cheap point-and-shoot cameras and even iPhones/IPads had better weatherproofed equipment!

Be aware and think twice before buying K-30 +18-135 WR as weatherproofed combo !
