HDMI Cable Question

My past experience with T series cameras forces me to ask...will a generic micro HDMI cable fit my 7 or will I need to pay more for a proprietary Sony cable? Technically, the T series had micro USB ports, but the socket was shaped just differently enough that generics wouldn't fit.
