Compared to a d3100 you save 100g, and this is with kittlens! The OMD is very expensive for what you get, good lenses are very expensive too, and the Image aspect ratio 4:3 is very outdated in modern 16:9 times!! If you want prints you have to crop every image, so i believe sony nex or even nikon 1 are much more popular for normal consumer
