I am in the same boat ( still thinking about the next move ) having waited ages for olympus to clarify what their 4/3 future is. I havent luckily invested in SHG type lenses instead adopted m43 in addition to my 4/3 gear ( thinking it was the direction oly wanted entry level enthusiasts that cannot afford an E-5 needed to go ). But the lack of a decent zoom in the m43 is starting to be a bit of a deterrent - inspite of great primes like 45mm F1.8 . . . .

Also the subpar AF( atleast in the first few m43 cameras ) defies the logic 'the best camera is the one you have in hand'- I have missed so many shots especially indoor ones where compact cameras give you a better chance of getting the shot than the bad AF of 520 and the m43 cameras

And not all of us can afford an E-5. The E-520 was the last entry/mid level DSLR remember and the people who bought the 510/520 have been left high and dry in my view ( apart from moving to m43 )

So I dont think its fair to criticize olympus owners who post their thoughts about moving on to another brand as it is something many of us are thinking about.

This forum is clearly about discussing about Olympus SLR gear which includes discussing the lack of a proper future direction and its impact on existing users. Some users decide to stick on and I have found that people who shoot in good light are less impacted than people who need to contend with tricky light conditions most parts of the year
