I hope there will be some positive news about this soon; if not, I will have to get rid of my D600, because although I know how to clean its sensor, I’m not going to travel carrying the big magnifying Lamp, the methanol bottle, and all the sensor-swipes and tools I use to do it……

I purchased the D600 kit (24-85mm lens) + a 70-300mm lens about 2 months ago, the price has already dropped at such rate like I have never seen in a Nikon before, and I’m afraid it could depreciate a lot more if in the near future Nikon announces a *new” and *improved* D600II.

I work in electronics and in my experience, the less moving parts a device has, the better, so probably mirrorless cameras will be best to consider next.

I don’t know if there are already mirroless with full frame sensors, nor if there are other SLRs to consider?…. I may try a Canon 6D as they are right now at a very tempting price at the Costco nearby. (They have the KIT with a Canon 24-105mm f/4.0 lens for about $1600) have you seen it?

Regards, Ed.
