Hi,

It seems like Fuji will use the new sensor in the coming X100s. I'll be very happy to see Fuji improve the AF and bring in the focus peaking to the X camera. I just a little disappointed that Xe-1 doesn't has all of this since it is just released.

Yes, i got the Xe-1 2 weeks ago and waiting for the 23mmf1.4. I know the "old" XE1 produce good picture and i can't really wait for the latest camera. But still ...I wonder if i should just return the camera wait for the new X100s and use Nex during the time. guys please stop me..:-(

Again (I sound like a broken record), there is no great record (none at all in fact) of PDAF on sensor improving AF speed. So I would seriously doubt that PDAF on sensor would actually have any impact whatsoever on AF performance for the X-E1 or X-Pro1 anyway. The only genuine improvements will be to MF performance and I'm willing to bet that peaking will turn up as a firmware update down the line for the X-E1 anyway. So if you've bought an X-E1, keep it!

Put it this way, I own an X100 and Xpro1. I might well sell my X100 to buy an X100s but the X-Pro1 will be staying for now...

I'm with you.  I have an XP1 that I really like.  I need one body that takes interchangeable lens.  That way I can use my legacy glass (mostly telephoto) and my home-made lenses which I have permanently attached to X mounts.

Currently, my widest lens is a Fuji 35mm.   I was waiting for the Fuji 23mm lens to arrive, but now I think I'll get the X100S instead.  The price of the 23mm lens and the X100S will likely be pretty close - and I like the idea of having a backup X camera.
