How do you know any of this? On the second count the only reason we know the X100 had a Sony sensor is because someone tore one apart after it had been water damaged. Low and behold it had the same sensor as used in Nikon DSLRs from a few years back. Until someone does the same with the X-trans cameras all this stuff is meaningless conjecture and frankly a waste of forum bandwidth.

Fuji made it clear that this is a custom sensor with angled photosites to optimize the angle of the rays from the lens across the whole sensor. Where is was fabbed is of no importance, since a fab will produce anything you want.
