Not giving up on Olympus just yet!!

I own all but two of the HG lenses and all but two of the SHG lenses, and continue to enjoy the hobby and at least a few of the images produced. The shooter has a long way to grow, the manufacturer of the lenses, not nearly as much. If a new body comes out at some point, it will be done because there is money to be made. Profit trumps all else in the end in any for profit enterprise. Nothing is owed to existing users, and the likelihood of profitability alone will determine if anything is "given" to existing users.

In the end, I have the lenses and continue to work slowly (and hopefully surely) at using them better, towards their potential whilst enjoying the wonder of photography.

Someone once wrote that the best camera out there is the one you have with you when the opportunity for that special shot comes into view....
