The sensor stays pretty much the same as in X-E1 with an addition of PDAF (which can be good or bad, it reamins to be seen, it was implemented and abandoned for a reason on their compacts already a few years ago, and it still reverts to CDAF in low light for accuracy).

The rest comes from processing power which can be also good and bad (more battery drain).

Do not jump to conclusions so early that everything is better on a model that will be available probaby in late April.
