Looking for a great video camera

For shooting semi professional looking short films at a 24fps. I'm looking for something that captures and has a really amazing steady feature (maybe with autofocus if there's something older). I have a Canon 300 hs now and it does the job (sorta) but I'm looking for something a bit better. I was torn between the s95, the s100, or the sx260.. but at the same time I'd be using it strictly for video and if I can get something that shoots amazing video and a bit more professional (less shakyness, something clear and vivid with a bit better 24fps) than my 300 hs, that would be great for under 400.
