The problem with buying a hood for a 24mm lens is that it doesn't do all much good due to how shallow the hood has to be in order to avoid vignetting. It really doesn't do much good at all, especially as the focal length increases and a narrower hood would actually help.
That being said, buy the DMW-FA1 filter adapter. I got mine from Japan, but the Panasonic web site sells them too. Once attached, any 37mm wide angle lens hood will do the trick. I'm using a B+W 37mm collapsible rubber hood on my Lumix polarizer, but I cannot zoom wider than 50mm on my LX7 or it vignettes. I'm looking for a wider hood one this month.
