Kodak DX4330 recharging deck issue

Some months back the recharging deck stopped working in the sense that the green light would come on without any of the charge indicater lights (all 3 of them) coming on. Even 24 hours after "recharging" none of those indicater lights would come on with or without pressing the "Kodak" button to the left of them. The batteries would also stay uncharged. I have had to use Kodak unchargeable batteries since and replace them every time they run low. Does anybody here know what could have gone wrong with the deck and why it is not charging? Thanks.
