I completely disagree. As the creator of the imagery, I think it's my right to decide if it's rescaled or not, especially when the rescaling algorithms are poor.
So you want to choose the hardware and configuration for everyone, and those who don't comply just can't view anything you post...
They should have to actively down-scale it. It should default to the way I posted it.
