HNY from oz & as a result of the holiday headed north to the outlaws & have been able to blow the cobwebs from the gear.... taken in NE Vic, near Glenrowan, in the morning before it got too bloody hot ! L10 , 50-200 & tc14



- a Black Fronted Dotterel. or small plover....



...trying to keep cool  on a very hot day, darting  into the dam and splashing around....



- Welcome Swallow , unable to splash so beak open to exhale/expire ....



I think a female woodswallow as it hopped into its nest shortly after, certainly not a close cousin of the above Welcome version.....



Lastly an immature Hooded Robin , probably a bloke as the sheilas tail feathers aren't as dark.

All in all not too bad a catch for a few hours on the first of a couple of productive days...& was able to reward myself with a well earned cold beer ! cheers RonOz
