7D vs 1DMk1V -- low light/high iso performance

thanks guys.. here go's with some answers to questions..

I do not print any of my pictures... they are all posted on Flickr and/or viewed on my laptop..

I usually shoot J-Peg cos I really can't be bothered with hours of raw post processing... maybe thats where i'm going wrong...

I do apply an unsharp mask to the J-Peg....

Guess I need to borrow or steal a 1dIV and compare....

Do any of you guys use the high iso noise filter in the camera.??? I've messed around with it but was not impressed with the loss of fine detail...
