Any reason to consider a Nikon F mount adapter over G if I have both F/G lenses?

I have a mixture of F (AI/AIS) mount Nikon lenses and more modern G mount lenses that I would like to use with my X-E1.  It seems that getting the G adapter (Kippo, Fotodiox, etc.) would work with both lenses and there is no reason to consider an F mount adapter also (unless I want to keep the adapter mounted to a particular lens, etc.).  Am I missing something?
