Frame Rate/Shutter Speed Question.

Thanks for the answer.  In my 1/2000th SS example I can see that the exposure is indeed 1/2000th sec, but it still takes 1/74th sec for the reading of all photo sites.  It seems that this would produce some weird distortion but not flicker.
