Focus peaking / checking in Aperture

Dear all,

Using Aperture for my complete workflow

have any found any plug-ins that do/emulate the focus peaking/high pass filter method for visualising areas of precise focus

preferably something that does it as a view overlay rather than producing modified separate versions

I've two extensive sets of images taken under mixed lighting where i've just fluffed focus on some of the set but its taking hours to tradeoff technical accuracy (extensive use of the loupe) vs uniqueness of the whole image and the job is particularly difficult because of lighting and subject

I know some of the RAW converters do such things (capture one) and it can be set up as actions in PS but that's more work than what I'm currently doing and I'd rather not split the workflow unless really necessary
