What's quite interesting is that this appears to confirm that X-trans is a derivative of the Sony 16mp sensor with bespoke colour arrays and micro lenses.

It would be interesting to know what the "current" rated AF speed of the X100 is because I found no difference in AF speed between the NEX-6 and NEX-7 when doing an in-store PDAF on sensor. It did reduce the number of failures to focus though (presumably it improves accuracy as well as shaving an imperceptable hair off AF speed).

The only thing that worries me slightly is that if one goes to DXO and compares the ISO ratings of the NEX-5N and NEX-5R, the 5R is worse. The 6 is also a bit worse. The DR has improved though. That said, I've always found the high ISO ratings in DXO to be a bit strange, they rate the (clearly worse at 1600 and 3200 ISO) NEX-7 as superior to the X100 and (even more ridiculously) the Oly E-M5.
