X10 -> sensor problem or humidity problem?
Jan 6, 2013

Hi Guys,

I am facing a problem that I would like to submit to you before going back to Fuji.

In the attached picture, you can see on the top left corner some faded mark on the tree.

Such marks have appeared quite rarely, and once it is happening, I can reproduce the problem several times in a row with different settings (selected mode, zooming position). Once the problem disappears, I am unable to re-trigger it, and it comes back later by "chance".

I would not certify that these marks appear always at the same place (I think they dont).

Is it due to dust?

Is it due to humidity? -- I live in Singapore, but I usually keep my cam's in a dry place, so I would be surprised if that was the case. And again it is not consistently happening.

Is it due to the sensor? -- In a pro camera shop, a guy told me it is due to the sensor, at the same time he sounded quite reluctant at Fuji

Any idea?

Thanks for your help.
