that's definitely one - the original 18-55mm wasn't the best either...

I was looking in this forum for info on lenses so I didn't even know there was a lens specific forum. It would be SUPER helpful to me to know what lenses are for what and what are good and not and so on.....even if its on a beginner level....like Starting out you might need.......

No no, not that one. He's talking about the original 18-55 non-IS lens. The current 18-55 IS II is a pretty decent lens.
