There seems to be constant chatter on the Nikon forums regarding the need for sensor cleaning and dust and/or lubricant on the sensor. I have not noticed such conversations on the Leica, although it seems that the sensor in the Leica M would also be prone to picking up dust from lens changes, etc.
Is the DLSR simply have a larger problem with sensor dust or is there something about the construction the Leica M that makes it more to sensor dusted.

Greetings!
Actually the sensor of the digital M's collects a lot of dust...what you are referring too in the NIKON forum is that with the DSLR you have:
a) a swinging mirror that circulates the dust on the inside constantly
b) a swinging mirror system that uses oil in its moving parts so therefore you find not only dust specks but also get lubricant spots on the sensor, actually not the sensor itself but the filter in front of it.
