colour or b/w?

I like your crop as well, but although I usually like tighter crops, I feel that your version puts too much emphasis on the couple and less emphasis on the lake and the trees. My original idea was to show the couple relaxing and dreaming about their future in front of nature. I feel that giving more space to the lake and the trees there is a bit more balance between these two elements....

Having said that, I look at my original version and I have to admit that the muddy path on the bottom left is not that interesting... Aaa, I am confused now....
