Playmemories App (NEX6): How to use?

I got the NEX6. Connected it to the WIFI but when I press the playmemories app it says set date/area/time and doesn't do anything else? I have done that already when I first set it up. Does the NEX only use WIFI to download apps from PlayMemories? Thanks.
