Maxxum 7D as a cheap backup to the A77?

- UI similar (not identical) to a77

- same batteries!! The KM7D bats are out of production and when dead, well, dead

- much better rear LCD

- much better "remaining charge" indicator, on my Km5D the battery went from full to null in way too short a time

- shutter lag and viewfinder blackout much, much improved

- no lazy eye in flash photos

- ... and more

i spotted a used KM7D for 119 euros in a brick and mortar store in germany this week and handled it. While I loved the good ol' thing, i figured out it would be more a collectors item than a real back up to the shooting i enjoy since a700 and a900.
