Dp merrill 3-D Effect

I will have to say, in favour of Foveon, the following arguments hold for me..

+ve,

It is much more easier to achieve the 3-D or V-ish effect with a Foveon camera than with a Bayer one, particularly the small sensor compacts.

-ve,

Ignoring imperfections in techniques, camera shake, exposure, WB etc.. it is much more difficult ( though it is too early but maybe I will stick my head out and say, impossible) to get the "mushiness" in a Foveon image, than it is in a Bayers image, if everything is done correctly.

So if the above holds true, it is a no-brainer which camera to choose if the 3-D or V effect is considered desirable !
