X-Pro1 (X-E1) AF Accuracy

My post is to address the rest of the situation that was conveniently swept under the rug. You are now attempting to micromanage the conversation. The topic is AF. AF is a lot more than just accuracy when you do lock on, but the ability to understand how to get the camera to actually lock on as well. When you come on here and talk about how great the AF is without providing the whole truth, you are doing a disservice to people and sending them on their way with expectations of performance that will not jump right out of the box and into their hands.

Omitting  truth is a form of being dishonest, and lets face it, this thread was started to put a happy face on the issue of X Series AF. I could care less about a happy face or sad face, and potential buyers should care less too. What they should be concerned with is seeing the whole face, and not just one side as it is presented in bias.

By discussing the AF performance for it's good and bad, in a more comprehensive manner, I am totally on topic. By trying to force people to only look at a subtopic of the whole, you are being transparent in pushing a one sided agenda.

My post was reasonable, well thought out, and aimed at helping people, not proving that I can overcome anything or that my camera decision makes me a smarter shooter. My post is fair, and gives praise, criticism, and solid advice. If you take issues with my post, then you are the one with a personal issue to bare. When you start trying to micromanage what people can say and what subtopics under the whole topic (AF) they are allowed to offer helpful advise to others, then you make clear that you have an agenda and an axe to grind.

Lastly, if you are appointing yourself forum police, disrespecting the fact that it is not your job and it is the job of the moderators, then you'll excuse me if I point out the hypocrisy in the statements that you make when you bring your personal issues into the conversation regarding other posters.

So you are speaking on behalf of the forum then? Tell you what. Why don't you let people read my post and decide for themselves if it is actually helpful and well intentioned. You won't be discrediting actual, real, and truthful information any time soon with ad hominem attacks, trying to force people to remain solely focused on subtopics designed to deceive, or trying to turn others away from useful advice by crying that you interpreted personal issues in the post.

While I don't speak for everyone, I can guess that they are not all keen on you deciding what they do and do not appreciate.
