Regarding 5D2 comparisons. It's a very close match on iq, and many 5D2 users have made the transition. .

It's also one I have direct experience of, and I like to share actual experience rather than conjecture.

As others have pointed out. FF is more critical for narrow DOF focus.

That being said, X-Pro1 is still more accurate than 7D according to users posting in this thread.
