Lower Bound Operating Temperatures for Nikon DSLRs
4 months ago
|
Nikon claims, within user manuals and in discussion, that its digital SLRs should not be used in temperatures below 32F. Nikon indicates that use of its digital SLRs in temperatures below 32F may damage the camera. This seems to be an unusually high threshold temperature level. What is the experience and thinking with respect to the question: use of Nikon digital SLRs at low temperatures - say, down to 10-20 F. Will Nikon DSLRs indeed incur damage at these comparatively low temperatures.
Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks, Robert
