A trip to Barcelona (Spain), with a "very good" compact: the P7100!

I went to Barcelona (Spain) for a short trip with my wife and children.
I've been there many times, and I know the city rather well. But I'm always glad to go back.
Took some pictures. Nothing special. The P7100 did the job very well.
Choose view original size, otherwise, pictures look soft...
This is Santa Maria del Mar, a beautiful church. You see one of the weaknesses of the P7100. I think I forgot to dial in some negative exp comp, and highlights are blown. No HDR mode on the P7100. I should have shot several pictures, and blend them in post to get a correct exposure…But I never use a tripod, so, it would have been a bit difficult.

I like the colors in this one ( kind of Olympus look !!!)

This is a very interesting ecological building. I didn't knew it, and discovered it thanks to a friend spanish architect who lives in Barcelona.

Another building I found interesting, for other reasons.

There are lots of modern buildings in town (I know…for americans fellows, this is common, but for us, frenchies, it's interesting)

Another interesting gate:

I find this tower is beautiful. My friend architect contributed to its building. I've done my best to correct distorsion, but I'm not really satisfied with the result: the tower looks larger at the head than at the foot…

The color and texture of the façade of this building were of a deep blue. I liked it (my friend architect didn't).

This is an interesting structure, built for the Olympics in 1992.

I liked the light on this manufacture, close to the Olympic village

This is Casa Terrades, a beautiful building.

Don't remember if this was shot on Paseo de Gracias, or if it's part of Casa Terrades…

A nice house, on avenida Diagonal

I can't remember the name of this palace. Unfortunately, it was closed…

This is a gate designed by Gaudi, the illustrius architect of Barcelona

I like this one. Don't know exactly why…

End of the trip. I hope you liked the pictures.
C&C welcome.
