X-Pro1 (X-E1) AF Accuracy

I'm not so happy with the AF accuracy. I'm coming from the DSLR world and I've had some issues photography food with the 35/1.4 in macro mode. It "locks" but not on the right thing. I think the reflectivity/reflectance throws off the algorithm. But for general shooting when its correct, its quite good.

AF — by any metric — is not this camera's strong-suit.
