Why Nikon asks for more money for a D800E than a D800? Is that a "dumb" Nikon policy?

By the way, the sensor is not without an AA filter, it rather has a same layers as a true AA filter, but one of the layers is a canceling one of the blurring effect, thus producing the same result (in sharpness) as if the filter wouldn't exist at all... There is still a filter with the same thickness and 4 layers like the AA filter of the "plain" D800.
